Institutional Member Benefits

ADGAP institutional membership offers geriatric academic and geriatrics fellowship programs valuable resources and benefits that apply to their specific roles and needs. There are two levels of benefits for institutional members.  We describe these below along with the requirements that members must meet to have access to Level 1 benefits.

Level 1 Benefits

Level 1 institutional member benefits are:

♦  Access to the NEW Fellowship Assessment Toolkit on Geriatrics Care Online

♦  Program discounts for licensing Geriatrics Care Online

♦  Program listing on the AGS/ADGAP website Directory of Fellowships.

♦  (1) FREE sponsored Individual membership.

♦  Free job posting via the ADGAP listserv.

♦  Discounted attendance to the Fellowship Director’s Preconference at the AGS Annual Meeting.

♦  Opportunities to discuss the wide variety of research, education, and clinical issues confronting                 directors of geriatrics academic programs.

♦  Membership in the Fellowship Program Directors Group that addresses specific issues such as the           Next Accreditation System, EPAs/Milestones, and the Match.

♦  A voice in joint advocacy efforts by the AGS and ADGAP on issues of shared interest.

♦  Networking opportunities with other members at the ADGAP May Business Meeting.

♦  Regular communication via the ADGAP listserv.

Level 1 Benefits Requirement:  To qualify for Level 1 institutional member benefits, a geriatric academic or geriatrics fellowship program must sign the Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Code of Ethics.

Level 2 Benefits

Level 2 institutional member benefits are:

♦  Opportunities to discuss the wide variety of research, education, and clinical issues confronting                 directors of geriatrics academic programs.

♦  A voice in joint advocacy efforts by the AGS and ADGAP on issues of shared interest.

♦  Networking opportunities with other members at the ADGAP May Business Meeting.

♦  Membership in the Fellowship Program Directors Group that addresses specific issues such as the           Next Accreditation System, EPAs/Milestones, and the Match.

♦  Regular communication via the ADGAP listserv.

Individual Member Benefits

Individual membership is available for individuals who have an interest in the work of ADGAP.  Individual member benefits are:

♦  Opportunities to discuss the wide variety of research, education, and clinical issues confronting                           directors of geriatrics academic programs.

♦  A voice in joint advocacy efforts by the AGS and ADGAP on issues of shared interest.

♦  Networking opportunities with other members at the ADGAP May Business Meeting.

♦  Regular communication via the ADGAP listserv.

Emeritus Member Benefits

Emeritus Members are those individuals who were previously Geriatric Academic Program Directors and who remain generally interested in the work of ADGAP.  Emeritus members are eligible to maintain their ADGAP membership as an Emeritus member for free.  Emeritus member benefits are:

♦  Opportunities to discuss the wide variety of research, education, and clinical issues confronting                           directors of geriatrics academic programs.

♦  A voice in joint advocacy efforts by the AGS and ADGAP on issues of shared interest.

♦  Networking opportunities with other members at the ADGAP May Business Meeting.

♦  Regular communication via the ADGAP listserv.
