Sections

Sections represent groups of ADGAP members from specific disciplines who come together to encourage networking and collaboration. Members of these sections meet annually at the American Geriatrics Society (AGS) Annual Scientific Meeting.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are grass-roots communities of AGS and ADGAP members who meet annually at the AGS Annual Scientific Meeting to network and discuss specific areas of interest in older adult care.

The American Geriatric Education Administrator Coordinator Team is a national professional forum comprised of administrators/coordinators supporting Family and Internal Medicine Geriatric Fellowship Programs.

Teachers Section

Chair: Mandi Sehgal, MD

The Teachers Section is a networking group for geriatrics educators across the country to share resources and ideas.

Junior Faculty Special Interest Group

The Junior Faculty Research Special Interest Group works to facilitate and foster the research career development of junior faculty members by discussing research interests, academic career development, career choices, job searching and funding opportunities.
