ADGAP Emeritus members are previous Geriatric Academic Division Chiefs and Program Directors who were active members for 15 consecutive years or more. The initial request for free Emeritus status must be received in writing. Membership must be verified before processing and Emeritus members may be asked to serve as potential mentors, participate in work groups, or attend the ADGAP Business Meeting during the AGS Annual Scientific Meeting.
Emeritus Member Benefits
Emeritus members are eligible to maintain their ADGAP membership as an Emeritus member for free. Emeritus member benefits include:
- Opportunities to discuss the wide variety of research, education, and clinical issues confronting directors of geriatrics academic programs.
- A voice in joint advocacy efforts by the AGS and ADGAP on issues of shared interest.
- Networking opportunities with other members at the ADGAP May Business Meeting.
- Regular communication via the ADGAP member email newsletter.
